It may come as no surprise to some when I say that I love a nice beach. Part of this love is for the simple beauty in the nature surrounding. The sights and sounds of the waves crashing. The feeling of the hot sand on my feet, intermingled with quick splashes of cold water to cool them off.

You know what really grinds my gears? It happens more often than not, where I hear people talking about an injury and certain comments come out as complete rubbish, so I can’t help but step in and offer up some “FREE” professional advice.

Before you say anything, I know it’s my job as a Physio to listen to peoples complaints of pain and try to identify the issues at hand and come up with a solution to help the individual.

I remember sustaining a few (2 or 3) concussions when I was younger playing basketball. I had whacked my head on the floor once, was elbowed in the head another time, and took a knee to the head the last time.
