Aras Ruslys is passionate about your health, well-being & getting you back to doing what you enjoy most in life.
I graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Sydney in Australia. Upon graduating, I had the opportunity to work closely with the West Harbour Rugby Union team providing on-field injury assessment and management, as well as off-field rehabilitation and return to sport training.
Since returning home to Toronto, I have worked in various clinical settings gaining valuable experience which has given me the ability to provide my patients with goal-oriented treatments in a diverse spectrum of environments.
I am consistently seeking out the newest and best ways to get my patients back on track. Some of my treatments include but are not limited to Manipulative Therapy, Concussion Rehabilitation, Functional Dry-needling, Running Gait Analysis, McKenzie MDT, Rehabilitation Pilates, Power-Lifting Rehabilitation, Mulligan’s techniques, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).
I have completed my certification and received a Diploma as part of the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy program and am a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists (FCAMPT). I have also completed my Level 1 certification as a TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) pro. I am also fully certified as an Emergency First Responder and am currently seeking certification as a titled Sports Physiotherapist with Sports Physio Canada.
I have volunteered at the Pan-Am and Para Pan-Am Games in Toronto, helping to provide medical expertise to the basketball and wheel-chair basketball teams participating.
When I’m not busy working, you might catch a glimpse of me catching fly-balls in the outfield, running or cycling with my family through the streets of Etobicoke, hitting up one of the many outdoor tennis or basketball courts of Toronto, or hiking the many trails Ontario has to offer.
